Evenity
Evenity (romosozumab-aqqg) is indicated for the treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women at high risk for fracture, defined as a history of osteoporotic fracture, or multiple risk factors for fracture; or patients who have failed or are intolerant to other available osteoporosis therapy.
Evenity is an anabolic treatment that unlocks your body’s own natural ability to both build new bone and to a lesser degree slow down bone loss at the same time.
Administration Information
Each Evenity dose consists of 2 shots given subcutaneously every month for 12 months. A short observation time may be required after the first and second injection.
To get the full benefits of Evenity, it’s important to complete all 12 doses. After finishing Evenity, you may be transitioned to a follow-up osteoporosis treatment.
Potential Side Effects
The most common side effects of Evenity include joint pain and headaches.
